Hey MGSE,
1. for those who don't know what the 20 July concert is about, it means you've not been listening during ensemble. tsktsk. anyway, this concert came about, because mr. chan thinks we're ready for our own concert. it was originally planned to be in june, but is now pushed to 20 July because of some SNYO thing.
2. laura suggested that we should have a chamber concert too; that means not a concert as a whole entire ensemble, but with small groups, like quartets, quintets etc. those kind. at first it was suggested that we have it in April, but i think if it was in April, the sec4s wouldn't be able to participate so much, 'cos O levels is earlier i think. SO we might have it in December instead.
take note tho, that
none of this is as yet confirmed. i still have to get through the indomitable barriers before we can set anything in stone, okay? (: yep but please give your opinions about this...like whether you want it or not, when you want it, or any suggestions. yep, i really want to know what all of you think about it before i risk my life to ask mrs chan. (: thanks!
have a blessed holiday! don't slack too much! (: practice your violin/
viola/cello/double bass!
love. ahma (:
