prefects' installation.please be in the hall by 6.50 a.m. with your instruments. come slightly earlier if you can to help set up the chairs and the stands. put all your scores (schubert, mozart, higher ground, how great thou art, bless this school, school song) in a BLACK file.
mrs chan will be conducting us, not mr chan.
oh, in case you guys didnt hear the order of the pieces we're playing:
1. prelude: schubert marche militaire (prefects walking up to stage)
2. how great thou art (after mrs yap speaks)
3. higher ground (after handbells perform)
4. school song (after prefects dedication pledge)
5. bless this school (after benediction)
6. postlude: mozart (right after bless this school)
and look up during marche militaire, although i dont think mrs chan knows about the whole "V" thing. oh well.
on wed, we need to tell people about this blog :X we'll be reading through dvorak serenade so look forward to it :D and make suggestions to mr chan about the pieces for the july concert.
