Hi peeps!
As you all should know, Mr Chan is going to leave Mgstrings:( of course it's best for him and his family, so we shouldn't be sad that he's going:)
To send him off proper, we're throwing him a farewell party. The details are below:
Date: 29 nov, Sunday
Time: 6.30-9pm (can come at 5pm if you want to cycle)
Venue: east coast park, goldkist beach resort (chalet) F04
*dinner will be provided (we have yet to decide whether it will be potluck, which in that case u may have to contribute a little something)
Mr Chan's been our conductor for our whole ensemble life (so far), and he's been really nice to us all this while. He helped us achieve so much this year, and we should be very thankful for all the hours he's sacrificed in order to train us. So i hope that you all (ALL) will make an effort to come down (despite the fact that it's compulsory). If you have other committments that can be shifted, pls do so, because 29 nov is the ONLY day mr chan can go.
Let's give ms chan a proper farewell, to thank him for all he's done for us:)
Hope you guys can make it!
Thanks yalls

Hiyall!
I think our Sounds of Hope went quite well. Heard a lot of positive comments from friends and family, so YAY US!!!
Thanks to Jean for uploading the clips. We sound pretty good, but we can always be BETTER
Here's the schedule for practice during the hols:
4 Nov, Wed2.30pm - 5pm
9 Nov, Mon2.30pm - 5pm
11 Nov, Wed2.30pm-5pm
16 Nov, Mon2.30pm-5pm
Mr Chan is coming for the practices, so you must try your best to come. Excuse will only be given for VALID REASONS. The teachers are getting stricter regarding attendance...
And i heard that the librarians are going to have some fun with you all soon!;D
Thats all for now. Check the strings blog regularly cos i'll be putting up bits of info that you all might need:)
See you during practice!Cheerio,
